We loved the atmosphere! It felt like you were at a lodge on a lake, and the aroma from the kitchen was absolutely mouth watering! Our server was great! I had never tried Cajun food before, and he was absolutely helpful on suggesting a dish to try and explaining what was in it. My wife tried the prime rib and said she would definitely get it again, and I had the redfish ponchetrain. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and juicy, definitely worth it, and one of our favorites! For never having Cajun food before, I was pleasantly surprised at the redfish ponchetrain! The fish was seasoned well, and tender, and the crawfish etouffee and rice hit the spot! We also got an appetizer of their fried mozzarella, and heads up, they are ginormous; the size of a large egg roll! They were filling and the homemade marinara was very good! We will definitely be making a return visit!

We've never been here before, but will come everytime we are in town now! Our waitress, Derricka "Paige" was the absolute BEST!
The Prime Rib and coconut shrimp were amazing and the mashed potatoes were to die for!
The cajun pasta was really great too!
Chocolate cake was also to die for!
Best ever!

We had a spectacular dinner last night at Trappers! My wife loved her shrimp and grits dinner and since we share back and forth a lot I was able to experience the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. My "Trapper's Catch" dinner with tilapia, scallops and shrimp was also really impressive. I love that they know how to blend great flavors in such a way to let us taste the great seafood while still enjoying fantastic spice. Service was very friendly. And we both loved the atmosphere that had appropriate music, well themed, fun decoration, and a volume level that was enough to be fun while still allowing us to talk and hear each other. Very impressed with this place, and if we ever come again to OKC we know where to eat. What a spectacular find!

We used to frequent this place about 25 years ago.
And to be honest, over time it lost its luster and the food and service went down.
With that said, I have recently started dining there again, and boy have things changed.
Over our hiatus, they acquired new management, and this guy is legit.
While most of the decor remains the same, the food and service has really improved.
We were greated at the door and welcomed into a room filled with smiles.
Our waitress was very professional, but made you feel comfortable.
Each dish was served with large portions and at perfect temps. And let's just say, the flavors were aweaome.
Now back to the management. The GM Scott Snow, made sure to visit with each table ensuring their needs were met.
This my friend is the sign of a strong leader!
Do yourself a favor, stop in and enjoy!

Trappers was an absolute gem of a recommendation. The whole place gives off this rugged, wildlife-lodge vibe — you half expect a bear to wander by with a cocktail — but don’t be fooled, this is seriously good food. The oysters were right up there with the best I’ve ever had, and the prime rib… chef’s kiss. The crawfish and shrimp hit that perfect sweet spot between spice and flavor, and the drinks? Total show-stealers. The Bold Fashion and Bourbon Smash both brought their A-game, but the Bold Fashion definitely earned a repeat performance. Molly, our server, was a rock star — friendly, funny, and spot-on with every recommendation. It’s easy to see why this place racks up the rave reviews. I’ll be back, no question.

What a great experience! The host open the door for me as I walked in they got me seated immediately and our server, Berto was an absolute Delight! We started with half blackened, half fried Alligator, I didn’t really care for the breading on it, but it was really good otherwise. The fried onions were a nice touch. I had the Atlantic salmon with the lemon sauce and capers, which was really good. The rice was cooked nicely. And my coworker raved about the seared Aji tuna. Will definitely go back.

Very friendly staff. Hi's on every turn. The waitress staff is attentive.
The food was good. I had the pecan crusted Rainbow Trout, it was good, I think becuase I really did enjoy the pecans. Cesar salad was good and cold, a plus for me with just the right enough dressing. The creole potatoe salad was the winner for me. Im not a potato salad person but I would eat this again. Lastly, the crab cake was better than what I've tasted in a long while.
I had leftovers which is always a plus for me. The price was sufficient for the portion and the service. It was super busy but I didn't notice the noise so thos is good as well.
I will definitely return.

Haven't been in years but quality is still amazing. Gator was fried to perfection. Everything was good. I believe our server's name is Matt and he was a complete joy. Very good server. Good experience all around.
